Attaching Screens /Panels in your Posts
Hello Guys,
Thanks for your helpful comments on picking turf lines I now would like to submit a post with an attached image from a race I played. But before I do enusre that I am doing it correctly. What I think I should do is: 1. Open RDSS and bring up the panel or panels I wish to attach. 2. In the message,Click on the "Insert Image" icon The request is to insert the URL of the image. 3. In my case it is, Race4, Fort Erie for June 2nd which is shown in the upper left panel as: "Fe02Junrace:4" To get the image do I enter the above exactly as shown as the URL ? Thanks Again For Your Help, Ernie |

Hi Ernie,
Here is a link to a video made by member Buzz and me on using a screen capture program (Snagit, in this case) and then making an attachment to a post: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3208 Summary: First, you capture the screen you want (e.g. the portion of your your RDSS screen) and save it to a GIF format file. Then you start a new Post, click the Paperclip icon as Mike explains, upload the image file (or up to 5 files) you just created, insert those images one by one in the position in your post where you want them, preview, then save and wait for the congratulations to pour in! Screen Capture programs: Snagit: http://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.asp ScreenHunterFree: http://www.wisdom-soft.com/sh/sh_free.htm Windows Vista Snipping Tool: type 'Snipping Tool' in the Start Menu Search Looking forward to it! Ted
