WEG has launched the redesigned HPIbet.com on April 16/15, the upgraded version of Horse Player Interactive. This new interface was supposed to be launched last January, but for whatever reason it was put off until April.
The only difference i can see with this new interface is the “search engine”, which details brief stats on Horses/Jockeys/Trainers, info that we already have in the PP’s. As well you can view 4 video screens at one time, other than that it is pretty much the same as HPI, it’s pretty disappointing in my opinion. It seems less clunky than HPI which is a good thing, but the layout is a complete letdown.
I was really hoping for a built-in accounting software to keep track of your yearly activity, nope! As well it would have been nice to have a section for constructing tickets like some ADW’s offer, nope!
In my opinion WEG dropped the ball on this one, i’m sticking with HPI.
