It should have been run at Aqu where they can run a 12F race. Thankfully there is no Triple Crown on the line otherwise if we had a Triple Crown winner it would need to have an *** next to the horses' name.. All NYRA wants is to do rip off the public with all their bogus packages. Folks should stay home and stick it to them

Hi Charlie .How are you and Missy doing? We knew that the casino outfit at the Big A has wanted the property and live gaming[they only had machine gambling when they opened up] since they moved in. They are supposed to put up a hotel when they get it. NYRA & the Gov should have made them pay for the whole makeover of Belmont for winter racing. I bet there wouldn't have been all the delays that have taken place with the makeover that has happened so far.

Personally the meet should end with the Belmont Stakes and open Saratoga within a week. As much as I love going up to Saratoga in the summer, I would not want to venture up there on a holiday weekend. I agree that its going to be Saratoga and Belmont, unless they decide to strike a deal and incorporate Monmouth into the mix. It's a stretch but it could be done. Good Luck this weekend.

it is tough having Saratoga open during the school year. that is why i think Jul 1 to Labor Day works better.

last year they closed schools on the day before the Belmont because of safety and traffic issues.
