Unfortunately, there is not any NewPace (NP) info in these RDSS Documentation links. I simply have not found the time to make proper and detailed documentation and usage notes for NP. But these is LOTS of info about using it in recent documentation and videos for Leverage/Pace. Let's make this thread an initial repository for links, factor documentation by users, images, etc. Then in due course, I will use my trusty AI to assemble it all into a coherent illustrated document, along with best practices. For starters - NewPace was created about 15 years ago by Dave Schwartz as an alternate and whole-history numerical approach to a horse's likely running style - Early or Late - along with a statistically likely range of final time Speed Ratings it is likely to run. Until last year, RDSS users could buy that product - a video course and manual spreadsheet illustrating how to do the calculations - from Dave, then the module would get activated for you in RDSS. That is the official documentation, and also the source for what subsequently appeared in RDSS over the past 15 years. As of last year - I arranged with Dave for a license to use NP in RDSS for everyone, both old and new/every user. For reference, here is the link to Dave's Store and his NewPace video course: https://horsestreet.com/shop/product...inar-download/ Though, you do not need that product to make use of NP in RDSS. It may help you understand what the factors mean and how they are derived, but it won't give you "best practices" guidance for use in RDSS. For that, you need ... RDSS! Following will be some links to posts here at Paceandcap.com - many by Dick Werpy (kahunab) and Bill Lyster, or myself. Let's start with those. In due course, I will add some specific intelligence about all the factors on the NP screen and their interrelationships. Recent discussion with contributions by Bill Lyster, AwesomeAgain - http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17441 From the Leverage/Pace Documentation - NewPace is an integral component of Leverage/Pace. Much of the L/P documentation - written and video - refers at least in passing to NP factors, screen sorting and usage. http://paceandcap.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=182 The original (2011) private (now public) NewPace discussion Forum - http://paceandcap.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=90

I go to lunch at the Atlantis with Dave from time to time.
He is a very nice guy. His website is https://www.community.horsestreet.com/discussions/p1 You could always ask him if he has anything |

The new pace form I can not access.
DELMARGRANT, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Grant - I removed the restrictions on that old NewPace forum from 2011. I should have done that before, sorry
Now everyone can access it, for whatever use it may be - it's pretty old.I guess I should buckle down and add some more documentation of NewPace here. First, another RDSS update. Meanwhile - I advise folks to read every post Brian Q (AwesomeAgain) makes on the subject of NewPace. Also Dick W (kahunab). Both are making serious inroads to best practices using this interesting tool. Ted

I have been working on a visual chart of how I tackle newpace. I will post it under General Discussion for everyone to reference for this weekends Black eyed Susan and Preakness!
