Very interesting notes, this data about "early line" , my guess is its in refrence to race that went early and the runner had a good race, and nothing to do with the morning line? If you could expound on it a bit it may be helpfull.

The "early line" is the morning line.

None of the horses listed won. I try to find some longer priced horses with a chance to perform well on the sod.

Most frustrating loss was Red Birkin at Kee who in my opinion had a jock who simply didn't try to get 2nd.

Not a pro "race watcher" in any sense of the word but just watching it seemed he didn't want 2nd place. If he runs 2nd I get the exacta a couple of times. As it is the $11.00 show price gets me tearing them up.

Ok, its a tote board thing, I understand. I track things that the next guy might not. An example is when I look at a runners line and think of what happened in a race I punch the date and track into the computer and if the runner failed to win in its race on a day when the whole card are wire jobs, what I call speed pops I may give that runner more consideration for not having a surface that favors it to win. In this game the public either bets too much or too little, with the latter becoming more rare these days. Whatever the trend is, bias, chalk, bombs, turf mutual prices etc. are all things that can lend a edge.
