CT 05/16-6th race SYN4

Good as race as any. Large field older claimers going 7 furlongs. I entered more than 1 line on a couple of horses, and also compared some horses from different tracks. For certain horses the TPR's did not differ all that much when comparing a Laurel or Philly Park line to CT.

CT race 6 screen2

It should be noted that Roblo is coming off of a 397 day layoff. Here is the all important TPR screen.

CT Race 7 Syn4 Final Screen

The final rankings screen. The layoff horse Rob eliminates itself with TPR.
I would consider based on the various readouts I would make #8 Roanake and #9 Minister's Pic as primary win contenders. Also #1 Gavins Wish must be considered considering all 3 are so close in TPR.

Rankings Question Syn4

I was wondering if anyone knows what SDP and SSR in the rankings screen for SYN4 mean? Thanks for any info.

Hi "Dog"

SSR is synergism speed rating.

SDP replaces the old "DR" read and is named in tribute to Bob's son who died tragically at a very young age.

Thank's Richie

Richie, thanks for the information. Looks like the SSR rating might be a good place to start seperating contenders from pretenders.

Richie how you doing? Hope all is well with you and your family.

Houndog,I have found SDP which is the DR factor to be a VERY POWERFUL RATING.Doc thought the number could be used by itself.Raining here now 55 miles away from CT could screw things up.Jeff

Houndog,Basically I came up the same horses I would go with 9-Minster and 1-Gavin.I give the edge to Minister because he is closer to the pace.I think the race will go late if track stays fast.Jeff
