I, for one, would love to see it. The little I've seen of the oddsline stuff you've been playing with is very impressive.

Hey Richie -

I think I'll be getting some free time again soon and want to follow what you're up to ... I am a little confused about what you mean by fair odds line. Are you showing us horses and what their fair odds should be? And if so, is this as specified by the BL/BL screen in VAL3?

thanks -

Jeff

Hi Jeff
Ok here it is straight up.

I am using a new par time group. It is NOT the universal table that exists in Val or Spec. It is track specific.

This is NOT anything close to the odds line in Val. Matter of fact readouts might be very different.

This is NOT val but rather a "homebrew" of mine that I am working on for a while now.

The only other time I have used this here was my post on "8/25 Turf win bets" when I simply chose the top 2 sustained pace horses in each of the listed races ok?

ALL turf races and their accompanying odds line will be based on sustained pace. The odds line for turf races is sustained pace specific

The "fair odds" line can be used in TWO ways Jeff:
1) Using the ml ( which I will list after scratches) u can look at the ml and look for the biggest "fair odds" overlays against it and advance bet some races based on the ml

2) U can go race to race and print the sheet and take to track or online for checking overlays against real time odds with a couple minutes to post.

Binder allows me the freedom to express myself and my little projects here which I love. I do NOT make a habit of doing this on a regular basis.

This is definitely a "work in progress" but something that shows some promise.

I will post back around noon Jeff with the updated scratches ml and fair odds line

I love exploring the unknown . Fear of the unkmown can be good

Richie

Ok - I gotcha .... Can I ask what factors go into making the Fair odds? Is it just Speed?

This is something that stays with me. First let's see how it plays out some.

Might be a total bust. Nothing ventured nothing gained
