Agree 100% Jeff.
I saw the post and feel exactly the same as you. Without Bill's vision, hard work and patience none of this would be possible.

All started a long time ago on a napkin sitting on the clubhouse floor of the Meadowlands

my words

Hi Jeff

I wanted to give the people who read Tims comments
my opinion.

He wrote

[qoute]The biggest challenges to pace handicapping, the Sartin way, and to the match up are ahead in the new realm of artificial surfaces. Ahead not back.[/quote]

I feel that Howard Sartin Ted, Richie and Jim are all working
together. To keep the Methodology moving ahead Yes we all are using the base tools and ideas of then.. They are giving us the tools to win today and tommorow Not to cut anybody else short .Pace and cap is full of people I admire Froggy said it best. There's nothing like seeing your 20/1 shot cross the finish line first After you have worked your
program and plan. Its a great feeling

I just feel sad that there are people who say the methodoloy
is done and that the answer is something else
I see many here that don't agree and thats the dream

Richie, I am doing my best to keep that dream of the napkin

I knew you would always be there for me If I didn't know that I would have not told you about my dream I knew it would be you and me.
When all the others left to do it better.. You and I were still at the table doing it the way we knew we needed to "Hey Rich look at the 7
HE'S GOT ENERY !!!!!!!!!

Thanks
Bill

I am very thankful for the vision for this Sartin Methodology community that Bill has had and doggedly continues to pursue. It provided me with a home and a renaissance of my longstanding love of racing and experience with Doc's methodology.

It speaks volumes of Bill that he so candidly compliments those he admires. He is mastering the art of appreciation, which by benefiting his own self, naturally also benefits all those who work with him, play with him and love him. Doc told me recently, in his traditional hyperbolic though charming style, that he thinks Bill is "a saint" for what he is trying to do here.

Though I use my own words, who am I to argue.

Thanks Bill!

yours,

Ted

Bill,

Henry Ford didn't design the V8 engine, he just had a vision and got others to actually design and build it.

I don't believe Howard Sartin designed the programs we used back then or today. He just had a vision of how they should work and what they would do, and because others shared his dream they wrote the programs and did all of the technical stuff to make it come to life.

Whether you like it or not, you are a dreamer Bill, this is your dream, and it is in progress, and Howard's baton has passed on to you to continue his dream.

I can only imagine how happy in his heart Doc must be to see his dream carried on, "His 1000 successful parimutuel investors using the methodology."

And as we pass by the wayside as we eventually must, this is the place for new blood to step in and take up where we left off.

A rope is stronger than the sum of it's strands, and so is this site that you built.

Thanks for everything that you and the others that you have brought together have done for me and my dream.

Froggy

Yep

I 2nd and 3rd that. If it wasn't for Bill, we would'nt have got the deep insight into the MatchUp .

He got a website that not only brought the Sartin Methodology from the grave, he not only roped the greatest handicapper of the 20th and 21st century, but got'em his own thread to moderate, contribute and run as he see's fit.

This website has the best library on handicapping.

The Hat Check alone with Mr. Bradshaw and RichieP's contributions should be the "Library of Congress ,jr" of The MatchUp at the least.

There's an old saying I think I heard once......." the more knowledge and wisdom one discovers, the more one finds he does not know".

Couple that with this : The more skill and mastery one acquires and absorbs on the road to mastery, the more one is truely humbled by his gifts . True absorbers of truth are more and more humbled by their discoveries.

Bill fits all the above.

Why quote someone you banned from posting? Why not let him speak for himself. If this an open forum, why not let Tim speak for himself as well as Fast4522 whom you also banned as well.
Not everyone has to agree with your agenda. What you interpret as "negative" may also be someones positive.

There are those that may like what these guys have to say. Long live free speech. It seems to have died here.

hello

Hello Bill

Some answers

My reply was to Jeff. He brought up the post on Paceadvantage
I did not look to post about Tims thoughts here

Tim has plenty of other outlets to post his feelings
Again I stress the door is open for him but he chooses to stay away

Tim is banned but that is by his choice' I have often said
that all I need from Tim is a public acception of my apology
Tim has sent me emails with his opinions since that time
and I have posted them here

Fast is not banned. He is moderated. He is free to post what ever he wants whenever he wants He has opinions. Some I hate
but most are acceptable Being that I am not really sure why he post here I have put him on a moderated list. All that means is I will see his post first and decide if his post are something more than just a
goal to post negative energy.

He has not posted since I put him on the moderated list
frankly I think I solved that isssue well. I miss my friend
but I have do this a way that fits the class of the methodology
As with Tim Steve has plenty of ways to speak his opinion
Including here

Lastly As of 5.45 pm Tim has not replied to me
on the match up thread He has replied to two others
and ignored my opinion , I hope I have showed my
feelings on this matter

These men have opinions and they can speak for themselves
