Best race for me was a 15k nw2l race at good old Mountaineer on Friday night (yea I know the bottom of the barrel but they pay green money there same as Belmont and Del Mar!) Hat that day had told me on the phone 2 things to change about the Powerlines on Rdss that would make them closer to HIS philosophy. Happened upon this race. Worked the race and without knowing ml odds ( I hide them on purpose so I focus on finding the HORSE first) see the #4 Pinerline come up like an absolute giant on the 3 RAW data screens I look at now. Positionally he dominates then looking at reads becomes even stronger. Almost fell off the chair(I do this a lot win or lose ) when I see 15/1 at 2 mtp.Gate popped and he was GONE! Richie P.S. -Once again the PLACE horse is NOWHERE to be found in the final contender mix

Inhonorofjohnnie, TAM, 3/5 R8, chasing the heavy chalk, Bayou's Lassie, around the track at 36:1, and finishing 2nd to her to complete a $79 exacta.
She'd routed, then sprinted, and was routing again. I'm up to my ears in work and my watch list horses are still performing. Go figure. |
