Not bad, Jeff
Just from you screenshot, I'd have also made the case that the #2 was the counter-energy horse (and best Deceleration) and deserved to be in an exacta somewhere.

Well the 6 won but I blew that ex .,Syn 4 had given me 6,2,5 and that's what it exactly came in.RDSS had it as well as the 6 looked great up top and the 2 was tied for 2nd VDC.The ex only paid 23.00 but I would have taken it.Jeff
Ted,Maybe I need lessons from you on the readouts |

Yeah, I haven't seen the race
but I was confused with the P designation for the 2, since he had the lead at the QTR pole his last 4 races. It didn't appear as if he'd had an easy time of it on the lead today however I was impressed by his last race where he led, got challenged, drew off, only to tire late |

John,
That P (Presser) is an Energy-disbursement designation, not a visual designation. The horse is clearly an Early runner, but in that line Jeff chose, the horse disbursed its energy to the 2nd call in a median fashion (P), rather than what is more typical for it: mostly E or EP. This software makes a distinction (or complimentary analysis) involving visual positioning and where in a race it uses its available energy. Ted

Im glad that Ted explained it because I sure didnt know how.The other speed in the race No7 Mr.D'Or was scratched so that left it wide open for the 2.I thought the 8 would apply more pressure but didnt.

Tfm,If you look at that 2 horse pp's he has done that before where he got a clear lead and chucked the bit or gets to the lead and hangs.Even if using the match up he appears the only speed I wouldnt waste a dime on him to win.Plus the fact the 6 had a class advantage as well.Jeff
Sorry to put this here Ted but I was just tyring to explain about the horse in the RDSS screen. If you want to delete or move it it's ok.Jeff Last edited by shoeless; 04-12-2008 at 04:29 PM. |
