How do I change from Data Plan Charts+PP to PP only within RDSS Data Centre? Currently the active plan says Charts+PP.

We don't have a way yet for you to do that yourself from RDSS. Just call TrackMaster Customer Support 800 321-3343 and ask them to make your RDSS Data plan be PP only.

Thanks for the answer. Another question, if you don't mind. With the charts and pp's are the video's included too? I'm trying to figure out a total cost for charts+pp+ video, unlimited. Also, do the pp's with the program work with the current track master past performance viewer like the $1 file did?

Sorry for the questions. I am not usually so thick headed. For some reason the trackmaster pricing structure is a bit confusing for me. Guess I am so used to Bris pricing.

If you subscribe to the PP+Charts plan, you can then pay EXTRA (.50) for Trackmaster video for a given chart. OR, with the next release, you can use a few extra keystrokes and get the same video (with a few exceptions) via Calracing's site for FREE. (You can get that today, unrelated to RDSS, via Calracing).

RDSS PP data files do NOT work with the TrackMaster PP viewer, or entitle you to the PDF files. Too bad, I tried to negotiate that and failed (so far...). I hope to make the Past Performances you can print be as nice as those (same data points), and more...

Is Cal racing carrying all tracks, most tracks, or just SoCal? Also, 50 cents per would get real expensive, real quick. I presume there must be some unlimited option for the trackmaster video too? Would be nice if there was a single pricing plan that included everything. The video is a huge addition for me if you can just click within the chart and the video appears.

Jim,

There's a workaround involving just choosing a horse's name, not a track. Then you get video for the race the horse ran in, even if it wasn't a California track. SOme tracks seem to be excluded though, e.g. CD.

TrackMaster is just reselling access to RaceReplays.com, and I don't think you can get bulk deals from TrackMaster, but feel free to check with them - it's unrelated to RDSS. You can get bulk deals from RaceReplays.com, but I like CalRacing's price better...

The last RDSS seminar I did a few weeks ago, we demoed this video within/side-by-side-with a Result Chart thing, but I've been stuck getting the video posted for download. It'll be up in a day or so, but don't rush out and buy bulk video access just yet - you may not need it.
