position PHOOEY
woe the positional boys in the Saratoga feature today. Big favorite (OUT of the money) was a positional horse that couldn't match up with the velocities of the others.

Does this belong in this thread? Seems to be just what you phooyed in the other one. Fact is, there is more than one way to analyze pace and running styles and it benefits no one to pretend otherwise. Using positional in tandem with velocity is a proven method. One race doesn't negate that fact. No one gets all of them, and differing approaches get different ones. Remember, there are no rules.
