Mountaineer track winterization
CJ over on P.A. chimed in with the following.
He looks to be right on the money as 22 1st fraction horses are now running 23 and change while 46 2c horses now require 48 seconds to get the same. Heads up Last edited by RichieP; 11-03-2008 at 05:51 AM. |

Raw matchers simply use the slowed lines to judge if the horse is in "form" then spin off them and evaluate using the complete past performances.
Alternative is to leave the track alone for the winter till it returns to "normal" in March/April and focus on night tracks such as Delta, Retama etc Reminds me of a Stones song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vdwbBHmtMc |
