Favorite looks vulnerable at Hot Springs. But then again he has shown adaptability as a two year old, but just not the same energy distribution at three

4/11 in Lexington Ky

This race has produced many a false "power colt" poisoned by the eccentricities of that rubber/wax mass called a racing surface. One thing it has shown: Turfway lines look too good there.Could the Florida Derby show colt go out alone? Doubt that he could last, but stranger things have happened. He IS the lone true speed here, but that track usually doesn't allow the runaways of bygone dirt days.

Hey Tim...you keep mentioning that certain tracks produce higher numbers...my question is doesnt the software adjust for track to track conversions?

As good as the Inter-tack Variant is today (there was none in Guy's earlier iterations of Spec) some tracks still are out of balance when they transfer: Canterbury, Meadowlands, Kee, Woodbine, PHILLY (the worst), Mountaineer (the second worst), Presque Island, and Turfway to name a few. See how many are synthetics?

Given that track at Keeneland and how well this one did on similar ones in England, I would be concerned a bit about the Kempton Park shipper.
