Thurs 5/14 - Pace and Cap

Hey...Does anybody know why Florida tracks card so many maidens...5 out of 8 at Calder today...following Tampa's foot steps

early tracks conditions

Calder...fast and firm

Churchill....sloppy and off turf

Belmont....fast and firm....so far..

I have to play Belmont????...boohoo

And as you probably know, it's drizzling outside, so we may get some changes made to the turf races as the afternoon wears on.

I've got no opinion about the first at Belmont. Weak field, maybe the 5 will get loose on the lead, but not with my money even though the odds are tempting.

you know what, I was looking at the 5 also....race does not have any speed and hes putting on blinkers...

the 4 looks good...maybe a ex box 4-5-7

2nd race back he ran against a 45.4 half then faded...I dont think he will be no where near those #'s leading this bunch
