8.3F 4YO+ Claiming $5,000

#7 Kenai River is my favorite brain dead play -- tops in Total Energy going off at 10-1 or higher. His morning line is 12-1. In addition he's the only horse than can run to 1F and 2C pars. He's been sitting on the bench for 130 days which gives me pause, but you have to make certain allowances for longshots, otherwise they wouldn't be longshots. Would they?

# 4 Larry And Pete has eight speed points and the best pace figures by far. Unfortunately, he's got no late kick. He's 6-1 and if he's decides to keep going today he could find his into the winner's circle.

# 5 Hey Bubbah has repeatedly run to par. He's got the second best Total Energy and is an overlay at 6-1.

#8 The Gooch has the best name. Okay okay, so maybe that's not really handicapping. Sometimes you can't be too scientific (see Richie's Italian brothers thread :>) How about this then? The trainer loves to pull off upsets in this kind of scenario. Check out those workouts. At 15-1 I'm using him in exotics.

As for the favorites, I think they are both false and am tossing them out completely.

I'll probably bet #7 to win. We'll see about the second bet. Hopefully, this won't be like yesterday at Tampa where our "bomb" went off at 5-1.

Feel free to join the party!

EVD race 2

It looks like it got tired of chasing horses ...
Decided to run on the other end of the field
