Taken Down - Pace and Cap

Getting Taken Down always hurts
its so bad I at times will not watch a race I just put in my bet and see if i won later
Its all part of the gambling aspect
But

Look at my L/E graph

I bet the 2 and 1 to win
I bet a 1 2 7 exacta box
Look at this readout
The 2 in my plans would hand on or get overtaken by the 7
Right?
The race runs just like this graph shows
The 2 gets the lead the 4 dies the 1 and 7 are close
Coming down the stretch the 2 drifts in into the 1 path
cuts off the 7 who is much the best late energy
Kieth Jones Philly track annoucher is all in to the 7
and here comes Royal Brandy (7) with a late charge up the rail
gets cut off by the 2 has enough energy to go around him
but bumps into the 5 Yet still passes both the 5 and the 2
7 2 5 right win and Exacta right ?
no sir not this time
The 5 calls foul They take the 7 down to third and I get NADA

The stewards don't see the race they see the bump
How can they give a win to the 2 who caused all ther trouble

The results were 2 5 7

it can ruin your day, BUT the opposite sometimes will give you a smile. One night at the Q-horse races, our choice was fouled but ran third. Low and behold, the stewards took down TWO and pushed us to first. Cuts both ways. good to see your using TWO lines now.....

I'm sure it does, Not for me. In the hundreds of races this has happened
to me
I have almost always been taken down
I very rarely get put up and Very rarely they let
it stand even today it was just an objection not even a Inquiry
