"I note that the 12 is 0-13 at this distance and that the 1 is 5/15 at 6f with 4 places and that the 8 is 9/27 at 6f with 6 places - perhaps something to think about exotically."
The 1 was a late scratch. I played the 7 on top of the 8 and 12 lightly. In this instance history repeated itself. the 12 is now 0-14 at this distance (and 26-4-7-4 at all other distances) and the 8 is 10/28 with 6 places at the distance (and 27-3-5-6 at all other distances) Not always a factor I admit, but something to look at nonetheless when there are strong numbers vs other contenders. Bill, Your point is well made, in my opinion horses will excel at a particular distance (that’s why they have horse for the distance in DRF).
When looking at your contenders list and looking for winners this tool should be used as part of the decision making process. Thanks, Mike |
